Our list of awards continues to grow. At the Business Weekly Awards ceremony on the 11 of September 2024, our CEO, Rupert Baines, was presented with the Young Company of the Year Award.

John Gourd, chief executive at Cambridge Network, told guests: “QPT markets itself as the first company to work out and patent a set of innovations that enable high power, high voltage GaN transistors to be used in Variable Frequency Drives at their ultrafast frequencies and thus unlock their full potential to deliver power savings.”

The guest speaker at the ceremony was Dr Hermann Hauser, who co-founded Acorn Computers and Arm, who commented that the finalists and winners have an impressive range of new technologies that yet again demonstrate that Cambridge is a major innovation hub.
