QPT are delighted to announce that Rupert Baines has joined the team as a Strategic Advisor.

Rupert is serial entrepreneur in deep-tech startups. Most recently he was CEO of UltraSoC, sold to Siemens in July. Before that he was CMO at Picochip, who pioneered the idea of 4G/5G small cell basestations, exit to Mindspeed then Intel.

Rupert brings a wealth of experience to the Board and advisory group both in terms of his deep understanding of the technologies that QPT uses, his understanding of the market applications for the technology but also his experience in scaling deep-tech startups. Rupert will be an enourmous help in driving the company towards its seed round in 2021/22 and beyond.
