ZEST is an acronym for Zero Excess energy Storage Transformer. This is a revolutionary new transformer solution that has many advantages over current transformer technologies. The patent has been granted for this.
These transformers provide the very high frequency isolation needed and ensures very high voltage isolation in the ±540V circuitry, without impairing the fidelity of the precision transistor drive signals or sensed voltages and currents.
ZEST produces significantly better results in terms of reduced power consumption, performance and reliability giving it significant value as a technology in its own right. It can also be used for high power applications in what are commonly referred to SMPSs (Switched Mode Power Supplies) from a hundred Watts for a laptop power supply to a MegaWatt for a motor/pump/fan electronic drive circuit.
